Freedom top question
I got a new freedom top for my '07 and it was off an '08, but the clamps are too short to fit around the loops. The top fits and everything is installed correctly. There shouldn't be a difference right? anyone else had this problem?

There should be plastic or rubber feet on the end of the clamp attached to the freedom top panel. These will just barely touch the loop attached to the top of your windshield but will secure it. Thats the way it was designed. The first time i took mine off the rubber feet fell off in the back of the Jeep. I coldnt get the freedom panels to lock tight without them. Luckily i found the feet in the back and realized where they go. Hope that helps.

Different tops?
There are some slight differences in the 2009 and 2010 freedom panels. I'm not sure if there are differences with 07 and 08 but there very well could be.

Here are some pics. Some are a little blurry. I hope these pics shows what i'm trying to show. I tried numerous times to clamp them and I am pretty sure it should be a lot easier than it is.

I will take a photo and post it soon for you. It looks to me as the loop is different than mine, not the roof clamp.
