Has anyone used the front 2 pieces of their freedom top as a bikini? I put the front sections on this morning and tightened down the rear anchor bolts but it doesn't seem snug. Took it for a ride and it rattles and is a bit loose. is this normal? I don't want to over tighten the rear anchors but it doesn't seem right as is.

 

There are 2 small "supports" (some people refer tto them as "feet") which must be folded down in order for them to fit securely. They are located on the rear of the top sections.

I did the same thing the first time.

 

If you tighten to hard without the feet folded the bolts will bust right through the top!

Can we get some pics of this? If I'm understanding correctly, you took off the hard top, and replaced the front sections?

 

Yes, sort of like a hard top bikini. You just have to fold down the little spacers before putting in the bolts.
