Has anyone had any problems with the front axel seals on their new JK's? I have the X, so I think that is the Dana 30? Mine starting leaking and then the dealer told me another one came in with the same problem.

 

I just found this thread & I know it's old but, I just had my pass. side front axel seal go, 7400 miles on it & no "real" off-roading (rock crawling etc) & no lift or mods, just playing around in the mud. Has anyone else had any problems? There is no TSB on it (yet), so I wonder if it's just a fluke...

 

Right front and Pinion seal on front axle.

 

My RF axle seal is also leaking just a little bit. Getting it fixed along with
the TSB on the squeaking pinion seal/slinger thing next week.
