Hey Guys,

Inspecting the under side of the Jeep yesterday I noticed that my front axle breather tube hanging down. After closer inspection I noticed the fitting has been broken off.

Does anyone know what the part is called?

Diff Breather Tube " Adapter",,, If you are going to get it from the dealer, just have them pull up the exploded diagram for the front axle, and the number and part # should be there. I am still waiting for the service book to come out from Mopar, not available yet.

Five bucks says Chrysler doesn't sell that as a separate part. Probably have to buy the whole damned axle housing. I've run into similar issues trying to get little bits and pieces for the JK. I think I'd tap the hole and thread something in.

If you do tap it out for a fitting, put heavy grease on the tap to trap some of the chips. or put a small magnet on the tap .
