Default Front Bumber Dealer Tag

Finally pulled the trigger.. got an X 2dr softtop half doors black.. love it. So i was removing the fake dealer ad licence plate frames..etc .. anyways, there was one drilled into the front bumber, in between my fog lights. I took it off, and the holes it left look like the dealer just drilled 2 holes into the plastic for his dealer tag frame.. are these holes normally in the bumber? or did the dealer make his own mod before selling to me? anyone else experience this?

Completely normal. Happened to all of us. If you look closely, there are small dimples in the plastic where the dealer is suppossed to drill the holes. Mopar doesn't make a front license plate mount to the best of my knowledge. If yours are level, be thankful...........my dealer missed the dimples resulting in me having to enlarge the license plate holes to get it to sit level.

Mine has also. I too took off dealer ads and found out. So, I'm driving with 2 holes in the fron bumper right now. I'm still waiting for the license plates... taking a long time. I can't wait 'till get the plates.

I requested my dealer not drill mine and he obliged. He gave me a pack of screws and I did it myself when the plates came in. Put some black headed screws in the holes for now, it will probably look cleaner. I also bought a plastic backing plate sort of like the back plate has so I wouldn't have to just screw the plate to the bumper.

Man that would suck to ruin the front of the JK with a plate!

AZ is so nice with lifts, quads, No front license etc. on the road!

These other stupid states must think their troopers can read the plate in the rear view mirror backwards!

Really makes no sense to me.

Yes you can read it backwards, it also can be read when you are driving toward it.

That makes me feel better.. they were on there straight, so i guess i'll just go buy some black screws to plug the holes.
