Default Front Bumper with Class C

Good morning all..not sure if I am on correct thread? I am buying a 2020 Unlimited Rubicon, question is for towing..any front bumper better than others in setting up Jeep to be towed behind a smaller sized Class C motorhome? Do I need the steel bumper factory option? or will stock bumper be just as good? Any and all advise greatly appreciated!..Be safe..Roger

I do tow from the front bumper but the majority do not. Most install a base plate from Blue Ox, Roadmaster etc. and then couple it with same brand tow bar. Lots of info in RV forums regarding the tow set up. Google setting up a Jeep for tow and you'll find lots of info about it. You'll also need a wiring kit and an auxiliary braking system for the Jeep. Have fun.

If you want to keep the factory bumper, then yes, you're going to be installing a base plate. That is not an issue at all. a lot of people want an aftermarket bumper for other reasons, and if that is the case, then definitely get one that you can tow by the d-rings with. Most tow bars will have an adapter. I know Blue Ox does. If you do that, you typically need to find another place to hook your safety chains. There is nothing wrong with a baseplate though if you don't plan to modify the jeep much.
