Question front diff question

I was under the front of my jeep today because i am getting a clicking noise when I turn. I noticed the fron drive shaft has a lot of play in it (in and out and twisting) Has any one had issues w/ there front diff. Seems like the pinion is very loose and it has way to much back lash.

You will have a few degrees of "slop". It will be hard to tell if is is gear slop, or drivetrain slop. Chances are it's normal. 5-10 degrees is normal.
