I am having problems with my Driver side front door retainer on my jk. The door retainer will not stay in place no matter how I adjust the window. Anyone else having this problem or does it warrant for me to take it to the dealership and let them fix it?

 

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "door retainer."

 

sorry, the front door retainer is the hard plastic piece of the side windows that comes in contact with the doors. mine sticks out at the top and lets wind/rain in. hope this helps!

 

What config. are you running? Half doors?. 2 door or four door?
May help the troubleshooting process is we have more info.
Of course a picture would be ideal.

 

Its fixed now, I took it down to the dealership. I wasn't even putting them in the groove. oh well thanks for the concern!

 

In Jeep terms those are called door surrounds.
