Front End Rattle - Bumpy Roads
Thought I'd post this as it may help someone.
I have a 2015 JKU with a Teraflex leveling kit. 2 inches in the front and 1 inch in the back with extended front sway bar links.
When off roading the other day I started to get a rattle when going over bumpy roads at any amount of speed from the front end. Back on the pavement there was no noise at all and the steering was tight and responsive.
Went over the front end this morning and found that the rubber bushing on the lower end of the passenger side sway bar link had worked it's way completely out and was covering the nut leaving metal on metal at the link.
I popped it off then took the nut off the lower bolt. Removed the bolt and sleeve. Popped the bushing back in the link and put the sleeve in.
I added a large stainless steel washer almost the width of the bushing outside of the sleeve/bushing and then reinstalled the nut. The washer will keep the bushing from popping out again.
I also added the washer on the driver side to ensure that one would not pop out at any time.

Usually you can notice a loose sway bar link due to a "popping" sound while turning in to an elevation change (like turning in to a driveway or parking garage). Same idea with a bumpy road too though.
