Default Front fender mount

My RF fender has lost the mounting pins down the back side from our last trip over the Rockies where the track was 5 ft wide in places with trees everywhere. So my questions are;
1. Does anyone have a picture of the edge where those fenders mount to the body? My aim here is to use a clip nut if I can and screws as the fenders are always loose and rattle with those plastic plugs.
2. In case item 1 does not work - is there a catalog number listing for those plugs if I have to use them? Then I will just urethane them in to stop the rattle and worry about getting the fender off later if it has to come off.

Thanks in advance

On the body side, you may be able to see what you're looking for with rugged ridge snorkel install videos, they remove that whole fender. If not, I've got a replacement driver's side fender, sheet metal only, that I can get pics of later tonight and it should give you an idea of what's back there.

Awesome. Await that picture. Have not seen the need to spend money on flat fenders yet.

This is the driver's fender but it'll be the same. If there's more you need, I'll be home later tonight.

Thanks Karl. I see the holes in that inner fender that the plastic fenders attach to. I will use the clip nuts that I had planned and get rid of the sloppy mounting. If fender gets hooked I guess it will rip off so I will make my own 1/8" steel plate ones. Not going to pay that fortune for factory ones and crumple them in the bush.

You're literally talking about the holes the plastic clips pop in right? Have you thought about just using nutserts and bolts like most after market fenders use? I'd think the only issue with a clip would be if the holes were too far in for a clip to reach.

Ahhh, you were looking for a little different view, sorry. The MCE fenders just use small self tappers in between the factory holes. You might get away with something like that, though tearing those would suck. Russ is right though, most of the time they just drill the holes out a pinch and drop a nutsert in.
