Does anyone know what the symptoms/signs are for broken front joints? I have a 2010 with a dana 30 and 33s on it and occasionally if I come to a quick stop you can hear a clunk and feel it in the brake pedal. Also when in 4x4 mode if reversing with the steering wheel turned all the way to one side you can also hear a clunk. If these are the signs does anyone know a ball park cost to get them replaced by a mechanic in Ontario.

A squeak,clunk are some.Take a look at it for signs of play

 

Stupid question, how do you tell if signs of play are happening? Do you know how often these need to be replaced or I guess there may be too many factors involved.
