Default Front windshield replacement

I scratched up my front windshield this past week. Along with all the rock chips, I think it's time to get it replaced. I'm wondering how much that will cost - has anyone had that done recently? Tnx - Strat

How exactly did you scratch up the glass?Did you drive through a troll Santa parade and a troll diamond earing scratch it?
Did an evil troll jump on your hood with a diamond and draw troll pics on it.
I know a troll that can fix that glass for free.

Hate to admit it but yes, I did drive through a troll parade. Damn throttle stuck. The good news is no trolls were seriously injured... just some bumps and bruises.

Depends on your insurance coverage whether you want to claim or not. I just pay the man about 250 to replace.

I paid $270 about 6 months ago. That was through safelite for a non JEEP windshield, but there really is no difference I can detect, besides the JEEP stickers, which I got from Amazon for $10.

I was quoted by safe lite with my usaa insurance "discount" about $375 and called back without the "discount" and was quoted $265. I'll never try to punch a bug from the inside of my window again...

Contact your insurance and change it to a lower glass deductible. I have $50 deductible. I expect to replace glass every year or two. Jeep thing cause of vertical wind shield.

Check with your insurance I have a zero deductible on glass - it was like $20 on the 6mth premium... I had a Toyota FJ and a new windshield was like $1800 ... had to have two of them replaced... so these are cheap

1800 bucks for a windshield? Was that the price for a 6 pack. Oh sorry re-read post. Toyota. Yah um ah first thing I'd buy. Yah.
