Default Fuel Filter??

i have a 2007 X
20,000 miles

is there a fuel filter on the jeep?..((replaceable>?))

i understand there is a filter in the fuel tank... or is it more of a screen??

filter is in tank. it is an actual filter.

per the factory service manual: Fuel Filter located at fuel pump module, replacement only based on diagnostics. I know it does not answer your question directly, but sounds like unless things are not running right and you suspect fuel starvation, you leave it alone.

Yup!
A little more info:

Two fuel filters are used. One is located at the bottom of the fuel pump module. The other is located inside the module. A separate frame mounted fuel filter is not used.

Both fuel filters are designed for extended service. They do not require normal scheduled maintenance. Filters should only be replaced if a diagnostic procedure indicates to do so.
