Default Fuel Filter

has anyone seen where the fuel filter is for our JK's? apparently its right at the top of the filler neck. Could this be an actual good idea Jeep came up with?

Two fuel filters are used. One is located at the bottom of the fuel pump module. The other is located inside the module. A separate frame mounted fuel filter is not used with any engine.

Both fuel filters are designed for extended service. They do not require normal scheduled maintenance. Filters should only be replaced if a diagnostic procedure indicates to do so.

Not if you look at that picture of where the fuel filter is, shows it right on top of the filler tube, and nothing mentioned about another filter, I guess it could be on the fuel pump assem and not replacable unless you replace the pump

The filter at the top of the filler tube is for the leak detection pump.
Probably for the Evaporative System integrity.
