If I'm not mistaken, you cycle the left instrument panel to your mileage display and hold the button/stick down for a few seconds. This should reset it.

That certainly does the trick on the '07s. Uncertain why anyone would want to reset it--it makes the display significantly off for the next few tankfuls of gas. Or at least that's what happens in the '07s. But, if you want to fool yourself into thinking you're getting about 5 MPG higher than you actually are, do it.
