Default evap relocation?

Have you done the evap relocation? I did the woods evap relocation when the Jk had 300 miles on it. I have a 08 as well but I have never had this ever happen to me and I always top off too!

There s a thread on this forum about that, if I recall correctly it has something to do with a faulty pressure release valve. Many people sent a claim to make it a recall but it didnt work out

Do you have your receipt where they "fixed" the problem? Did they actually replace the tank? If they did you should have a part number reference on your receipt. I they did replace the tank, you shouldn't be having issues again (not for another 30K miles....hehe).

Take it back and have them fix it. It's under warranty.

There is no pressure release valve. The problem is the anti-roll ball valve in the tank right at the inlet. The ball bounces too much as your filling the tank. As the tank gets fuller the ball sticks at the top of the valve, shutting off gas flow. The valve should only shut off gas in a roll-over.

All one has to do is to remove the tank and cut out the ball reinstall tank, good for life.

If they didn't replace the tank, they didn't fix it. Have them do the job right!!
