Default Gas cap

I've gone through 4 Stant gas caps and 1 new factory cap and keep getting GASCAP on the odometer. Anybody have this issue ?? Also keep getting this code.

That code is also tied to other parts of the emission system. When mine threw that code, I also swapped out 2 OEM caps without success.
Finally took it to the dealer for a smoke test and found that there were several leaks in the system (old hoses) and a purge valve.

I had that error one weekend about 2 yrs ago in my 2012. In my case, a re-seating of the larger hose that goes to the Evap canister instantly fixed the warning message. Nothing I did with the gas cap had an affect. Really, I just grabbed that hose and rotated, pushed, pulled, then the light went out. I'll try to find a picture of the hose. Under the hood. By firewall on drivers side.

Yup, this ^^^^

Around here, it's like $100 for the test.

What does the brake booster vac line have to do with the gascap.....:confused:
