is what the warning is in place of the odometer when I start the JK. It doesn't care whether or not I tighten the cas cap, put a new one on or whatever. I start the JK, about 30 seconds later a single chime sounds and the word "gascap" appears. It goes away if i push the odometer button but is back the next time I start it.

Anyone?

 

My evap canister was causing my issue. There was an O ring that was bad.

 

Have you moved your evap, or damaged it? Check it out. Any of those hoses going to and from it can cause the code.
