Default Gauges

What gauges does the JK come with?

Found a pic online that almost looked like it only had a speedo, tach, fuel, and temp. If no oil pressure and voltmeter, I guess I'd better hope someone makes a nice 2 or 3 gauge pod for them.

EDIT: I'm most interested in the X, if the different trim levels have different clusters.

Yup, that's it. The oil and volts have been reduced to idiot lights

Damn. Idiot lights just don't cut it for me. (Though my Ford Ranger has idiot gauges- that's just brilliant...)

I'm mosty a Ford truck guy and in pickups the best place, IMO, to mount extra gauges is on the A-pillar. Guessing this isn't an option in the Jeep because of the folding windshield. Has anyone seen any nice aftermarket pods for the JK yet?

you could always pics up a set of individual gauge pods from autometer too... i think they would match the styling pretty well actually... and they have gauges that will match and stock cluster.

I know there are A pillar gauge mounts out there for the TJ, so I think eventually they are likely to come out for the JK. Kilby also makes the gauge pod dealie that chills on the dash, which is an option if it fits JKs.

Or, just take a Dremel to your dash and put it where you want. One of the things I like most about the JK interior is the large amount of hacking and mounting room.
