Angry GD pitman arm

ok so ive broke one puller so far and im about to bend my breaker bar. tired heating it and beating the piss out of it with a hammer but no dice.

any one have any good ideas on how to get this junk off, trying to finish installing a replacement steering gear.

Your going to have to get an actual pitman arm puller, usually other pullers do break.
using a 1/2 impact gun on the puller makes it a lot easier once you get the right puller, it can be done with a bar.......but when it breaks loose you will most likely go flying.

Go to Autozone and borrow the HD Pitman Arm puller ... it's a Monster and pulled my Pitman arm off like it was melted butter ...

I used a $12 pitman arm puller from the parts store and a 18" breaker bar. Put a strap around the steering linkage if its still in the jeep because as said above it will pop off hard.

Good Luck!
