Gear ratio - incorrect on window sticker
And to the op. I bet you have the 4:10s. The build sheet says standard. Find out where it lists the options it may be listed there. Put the jeep in the air and turn the wheels as others have suggested.

The 4:1 you are referring to is the transfer case. If you ordered or purchased a rubicon auto it comes with 3.73. If you had the 4.10 option you would see 4.10 gears on the sticker under option section. And to the op. I bet you have the 4:10s. The build sheet says standard. Just looked at the 2014 window stickers. Looks like they aren't even putting an axle ratio on it under standard equipment for the Rubicons. If they have 4.10s, it's listed under options for $295.
Sahara's and Sports still have an axle ratio listed under standard equip though...
Let us know what the dealer/Chrysler tell you about it.

I went through the same issue with my 12 Rubicon. Window sticker said 4.10. Pulled build sheet from Jeep and it says 3.73. Took it in to the dealer and they had their "best" axle guy do the spin and count rotations routine. He says you have 4.10s. Went home and jacked the jeep up and counted for myself, 3 and 3/4 turns. Called the dealer back and told them they might want to give a counting test when they are hiring mechanics.
Dealer had me bring it in and they pulled the dif covers and checked part numbers. Sure enough, 3.73.
After a week of phone calls between dealer and Jeep they got approval to change the gears to the 4.10s. Jeep even paid for a rental car while the dealer took their sweet time doing the change. It took 4 days as the dealer had to wait for Jeep to give them the new PCM program for my jeep.
I was told as long as you have your original Monroney (window) sticker under federal law they have no choice but to make it right.

I just this week canceled my order for a new Rubi. The dealer assured me it would have have 4.10 gears, even showed me where the rubi comes stock with 4.10 gears in the brochure. I called my pal to get the friends and family discount and tell him about my new Jeep. He assured me the 4.10s are not avaliable under any circumstance currently. Went back to dealer and confronted them with my new found info. The salesmen called me back an hour later and admitted I was right so I thanked him and canceled my order. Its ashame tha chrysler will not build what you want. Oh well I guess I will just mod what I have to suit my needs.
This thread got me looking since I just bought a new 2014 JKU Rubi with the 6M.
The window sticker say's nothing about axle gear ratio just the 4:1 Tcase.
All of the Jeep sites say if you have the 6M trans you by default get the 4:10's.
If you have a 5A you get 3:73 by default and 4:10's are optional which should show under the options on the window sticker.
I pulled my build sheet from Jeep and checked the DANA site with the DANA # on the tag of the rear axle( Dana Holding Corporation - The Expert Axle Bill of Material ) and sure enough I have the 4:10's

The issue is the automatic transmissions on the 13' and later. While 4.10 gears are standard on a Rubicon model, the selection of an "optional" automatic transmission automatically deselects the 4.10 gears and replaces them with 3:73s. If you desire the 4:10s you would have to re-select them as an option. The same is true for a Sport or Sahara. The 3.21s are the standard gears and this will appear in the upper portion of the window sticker. (Regardless of what option gears you might have selected.) Then in the lower portion you would see the options that might have changed them. Unfortunately this can be tough to decipher as the automatic option doesn't elude to the new gears. This said, if you were building it online you would've seen a pop-up that warned you on the other changes that occur when you make a selection.
I hate to say it, but I think you might have misinterpreted the window sticker. None-the-less, It doesn't hurt to talk to your dealer about the issue.
