Default Gear Shifting issues after being on Cruise-control for awhile..

I have a Jeep Wrangler 2010 (Mountain) and I just change to 4:56 gearing, from 3:73 (lift 2.5" and 35's). Now when on cruise-control for awhile, when I disengage and try to shift down, it's like shifting in a pit of molasses. Any idea why this is happening now, never did before, prior my mods.

What happens if you drive for a long time without cruise control?

Sounds like your clutch is going out. Is it a manual?

Sounds like your clutch plates are worn out or the transmission. Start with basics and make sure you got gear oil in the transmission. If you do, you will have to take it to a transmission shop...
