Default GF JK Crash PICS, Frame Damage?

Girlfriend put our 2 month old JK through a wall last night. Was the standard "I thought hit the brake...." scenario. I was pissed but I'm over it now . Luckily she wasn't cited and our insurance will cover the Jeep/walls. So from what I can tell the hood is dented, right front fender, right front flare, bumper, grill and fogs. Luckily no damage to the radiator/coolers and the Jeep is still drivable.

I posted some pics of the front frame rail, and the supports are both bent. On the other side of the wall was another wall that separated two yards, sort of like a "T", and the frame in the front is bent. I know everything else can be fixed but can this frame be straightened?

I've seen much worse frame damage and the shop was able to fix it as new. Looking at my buddies Jeep, you could not tell if they did any work to it.
Your fix would be minor to a bodyshop standard. Hope your GF is alright.

Thanks. Yeah she's fine. It was really slow, she was parked already and just nailed the gas, the wall was literally 3 feet in front of her. So what will they do, straighten the frame or cut/weld a new cross member in there?

There's plenty of shops around where I live in AZ that waive deductibles so I don't think we'll be out any $$$. On the bright side, she did just give me the green light for a new steel winch bumper .

That crossbar can be plasma cut off and they can slap another one in there. It doesn't look bad to me. Now you can get a real bumper on your rig!! Yay you should thank your gf.

+1 from me

I've talked with some guys that have done worse than that on the trail, and still drive it as a DD with the damage.

Hurray for GF's, wives and significant others that allow us to modify our vehicles as needed!

Seriously though, glad she is ok and bottom line, looks like it should be a pretty easy fix!

I freakin love this Jeep. She got rear-ended a few weeks ago at a stop light from a dude going 30mph.... just a scratch on the bumper (receiver took the brunt of it, thankfully the Jeep is lifted). Now she drives through block walls.... THIS THING IS A TANK!

Zombie apocalypse? Not worried.
