Default Glowing header shroud

I just got home after running a few errands around town. It's about 45* here today. I peeked under the hood and found this. I've never noticed this before.

Should I be concerned? If so, what could be the cause of this?

How old is your jeep? I suppose its possible you might have a clogged cat, and it could be keeping the headers hotter than normal. I may be way off base, however. DOn't trust me, I drive a Sahara.

It's an 09 jkux 109k miles on the odometer. No issues running. It's still orange after sitting for 30 minutes too.

An easy way to tell if it's the cats it will have a sulfuric odor from the exhaust. Mine looked just like that when they clogged. It was after a 14 hour drive home that I found it though.

Still orange after 30 minutes?? That's definitely crazy, especially considering it's just a heat shield. I would also be leaning towards a clogged cat. But even so, 30 minutes??!

I'm an idiot!!!!

The "glow" was from the sunlight coming through the door in my garage through a beach ball. Lol

30 minutes does seem excessive, even if you paid for the hour..... In all honesty OP, is the jeep throwing any codes? Suffering on power or economy?
