Got some odd tire wear going on
I looked closer last night and it does seem to be both fronts. I don't think I had them in even light and when I decided to take a ruler out there they were both about even.
I guess I'm just not used to having to rotate them so often. Just gonna go buy a second jack and do it myself monthly I guess. Still gonna take her in and have a bro at my tire joint take a gander.

I do it so often that I bought a Lifetime rotate and balance service from my local Discount Tire (dunno if you have these up there), but so far for $120 bucks up front they have rotated and balance my tires (all 5) 9 times. Worth the $$ if you ask me.

I had a tire wear like that on my TJ. I was running Goodyear MT/R's. Turns out the stealbelts inside the tire were bad/broken, and caused it to not ruin properly on the ground. Just a suggestion.
That's what the Goodyear tire shop told me. They replaced it for free.

that type of tire ware is called cupping, and is caused by bad shocks. unless you are doing a lot of heavy towing than you i would not suspect toe in. since your solid front axle does not change angles when it goes lite from towing, then I would not suspect toe in.
Are you used to seeing toe wear on street tires or mud tires? Mud tires show wear patterns much differently. I assure you it's toe wear. It's entirely possible it's from lack of rotation, BUT being on the front exposed to a "non zero" toe setting (perhaps for too long) is what caused the condition.
Thanks for all the help. I'm def new to Offroad everything maintenance included.
Just so I'm clear, would rotating front to back be sufficient or should I rotate front to back & left to right to avoid + correct this wear?
And I'm def going to look into lifetime balance/rotate. I'm about to push a 4" lift on this and move to either 35's or 37's so that seems to be a good point to sign up for something like that.
