I have them. I like them, they do have their downsides though. In all reality, I think they are good. I wouldn't do it differently.

They will leak during a car wash. Not a raging river, but more than a few drops. I have only had them leak once in rain, but that was driving 70 with real high winds. They are noisy, but not much you can do. Having the blower on two clicks stops the futtering of them.

What I don't like is amount of room they take up when off. Almost fills the back up and I got the mopar half door bag to store them. They just pull right out. I live in Michigan and use this as a DD, so I have gone thru a winter with them. If somebody ever makes sliders for these, I'll be in heaven.

All of that said: "It all goes away when you pop those suckers off and cruise!!" All the little negatives melt right away.

I have only seen one person with half doors saying they wanted full doors on these forums, but I've seen a butt load that would trade their fulls for factory half doors. Of course some will tell you to get the fulls then you can pull them and run tube doors. My opinion: I have a 6 yo and a 4 yo and while people think the half doors are flimsy, they have been engineered and passed crash testing and not a single tube door maker can match that!! I want a little more between another vehicle and my kids.

GET EM!! ENJOY EM!!!

Get them, if you don't like them, there are many who will trade you

I take the fronts off in the summer, leave the rears on for when the nephews ride with me

I love them. Very easy to pop out and back in which is great. They are thick compared to how they were on the TJs so interior feels more refined and solid. I don't miss rolling glass windows at all. If I want air I zip and opening in the top front corner or a slit in the back... either way. To zip completely open I have to open the door momentarily as the plastic window tucks between the door and dashboard. At highway speeds you hear more wind of course... by myself I don't even notice... with others in car you are more concious of it. All pieces you take off fit nicely in trunk stacked up. Compare to TJ (I had one before too) it is much easier and quicker to strip down or cover up. I didn't have leaking problems. Once or twice after rain I noticed drops inside one door, but really nothing. Ice does not build up so you only have one glass window to worry about. Once your Jeep gets old you have more pieces you can replace with new ones to make it all new again. Absolutely love the openess. Don't have to worry about removing/replacing doors.
