Default Hand Brake Light

Every time I come to full stop the brake light comes on and some times while driving the brake light traction light comes on..

Anyone had same problem? Dealer service center is asking for $270 just to check

check your brake fluid level. as the brakes wear the fluid will go down. it could also leak. good time to do a brake inspection, probably due for a tire rotation anyway.

Thank that the advice it was the fluid level and I was thinking it was something major

You may want to keep an eye out for leaks. I have over 40k miles on my 07, and have replaced my rear brakes and did not have to add fluid. Odd you are that low.
