Default Hard Top Bolts

What is the least expensive source for hard top bolts? I lost several over the summer and need to replace them. I'm guessing the dealership will be expensive. Heck, even Quadratec wants 7 bucks per bolt for Mopar.

There's nothing special about them. Home Depot. It you want to get fancy replace them with wing screws so you can take them off without tools.

If you still have one, then do what any4xx recommended. Take one to Home Depot or Lowes or Tractor Supply or Rural King or <insert your favorite hardware store here). These places have boards mounted where you can thread that bolt in to and it'll tell you the size of the bolt. Upside to a place like Tractor Supply or such is they sell bolts by the pound (Lowes and Home Depot sells by the each). Tractor Supply and you'll pay under $1 for all the bolts.

Is there any particular coating on them? I don't want them to corrode or cause corrosion. I'mguessing galvanized or stainless would be best. I'm just wondering what the black coating is on the OEM bolts. I know next to nothing about metals, so I'masking because I don't want chemical interaction between the bolt or the fastener or steel body that leads to corrosion.

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I want to be sure. My Jeep lives in the Midwest where ice treatments destroy cars. My 8 year old 100k mile Jeep looks new inside, out, and underneath, and I'm obsessive about it.

Thanks for the help! I just can't bear spending 8 bucks at the stealership for each bolt.

Sweet! I'll get some Lowes bolts to hold it while waiting for a set of these.

Thanks friends!

Ebay has similar offerings if you'd prefer a different head, circle, twister, wingnut, etc.

Sorry for the delay. It looks like you're on it now though. But just in case, they're 8mm x 1.25 thread-pitch and 25mm long.

Thanks! I ordered the Amazon kit. I'm going to pick a couple up tomorrow to hold it down a little better until the kit arrives.

Thanks guys!
