Any idea what caused it? Are you still under warranty? I see you are in Illinois and maybe with the bitter cold you've had recently it caused it to crack, but that would seem to me to be a warranty issue if you are still under warranty. Another option could be insurance, but based on your deductable, it might cost less to have it repaired.

Any boat shop should be able to repair that no problem.

Yeah it's a crack. And I have no idea on how it happened. At first I thought it was the cold but I found the crack before it got cold. Then I thought someone had leaned on it but that seamed unlikely. So it's still a mystery to me on how it happens. But I will try your suggestion on the boat shop see if they can do something about it. THANKS!!

Maybe you tightened the bolts that attach it to your jeep too tight and the cold here in Illinois just finally stressed it out too much?

I haven't removed the hard top since I bought the jeep.

I can tell you that the cold will not cause a crack like that. Had the jeep out in -35 celcius, and no change to the hard top. Factory defect is what I think.

Is there a reason you're not going down the Warranty return route? Seems like a legit warranty return problem. Or are you out of Warranty?
