we had a lot of sow and ice,coulda happened when scraping?? But wtf? It has a little chip out of it,its white underneath? Any one have top chip,wow if it chips this easy what about taking off top ,or wheelin,thanks

Top nicks up and scratches really easy, most use a black sharpie to color in the white, I had a big chunk outta mine and used marine putty to fill in.

thats the problem,i think its not fiberglass,but a cheaper material,i had a corvette,thats fiberglass,i didnt see it chip all over the place,and i had that for years,this is a 2010,lol?

It's a type of rubber sheet molding composite, similar to fiberglass.

they tried paper mache but it didn't leak enough

I am not enamored with the construction of the HT, but what are the choices:

A lighter material reinforced with Kevlar which would double the price or using a sturdier material like fiberglass which doubles the weight.

Or aluminum it won't be cheap but at least it will bend and dent and won't have to be replaced, instead of break fracture and shatter that will need to be replaced
