Hazard Switch
I have a basic hazard switch with only the hazard button and ESP on it. I see a replacement is $40, but I found another replacement for $25, but it has SWAY BAR, AXLE LOCK, LIGHT BUTTON, ESP on it. What happens if I install the $25 switch instead of the $40 one (with only the HAZARD and ESP)? I'm assuming none of the other features will work, but I just want to see if I can save $12 and NOT receive any codes for having another hazard switch.
Anyone ever tried this?
Thanks,
Steve

You'll be fine with the cheaper one. I replaced my cooling switches with one from a hard top (hard top defrost button) and nothing different happens. It still works like it should and if I hit the button, it lights up for half a second then cuts out. No signal to be sent, received, or confirmed so it doesn't do anything.
