Default Headlight ??? Got flashed many times.

I was in Mexico this past weekend and traveled at night for the last 2 hours. About half the oncomming traffic gave me the good old high beams to "fight back". This happened even when I clicked back and forth to show 'em I had the lows on. To be honedt, the lows work better, and the highs seem to have a blueish tint to them....and go a little higher ..but not brighter. Apparently they thought so too. The beams seem to be in line ok......so...WTF? I mean...these stock lights do not seem bright to me....especially the high beams.

JK headlights are typically not adjusted correctly from the factory. Adjust them down per instructions in your owner's manual and the other drivers will be much happier.

I have noticed getting flashed as well, especially when cresting a hill and my nose is point up and they are comming over. I will adjust mine and see how it goes. I guess I will have to get the manual out.

also, you sit higher than a lot of other vehicles, so they are going to get blinded more easily.
put some pencil beams on the windshield, hit them with those a few times, then they will know what bright lights are

Default thanks

I'm gonna try adjusting them......no lift by the way.....stock 16's also. I like the idea of some REAL high beam lights. then they will see the difference. Anyone agree that the high beams are weak?

Here's the thread about adjusting your headlights. I did it this past weekend... it was really easy.
