Default Headlights too bright

2017 Sahara HID headlights- when it's dark and the road is covered in snow, I literally can't see past my hood if it's snowing. If I turn off all lights but the markers, I can see better. Anyone have any ideas? I even had someone else verify this to make sure I wasn't crazy.

In my experience really bright headlights and snow, especially heavy snow, don't mix. Try running just the fogs, or adding a set of amber fogs. Several brands are offering true amber LED pods. I've heard really good things about the Rigids and the KCs. (I know high end, but I'm really picky about lights).

Hope this helps.

Happy Jeeping!

Sounds like you need to adjust them down. I have factory LEDs 2018 recon and no issues. I live in Montana and drive plenty in the snow at night.

I'm gonna have to agree on several points made already. If the headlights are adjusted too high they will light up the falling snow in front of you into a wall of white. A better option anyway is probably just to run some fogs only in those conditions and keep the light as low as possible.

I think if you only run fogs at night you are probably going to get pulled over. Not sure about everywhere but I would guess most places require you to run properly adjusted head lights at night.

I prefer just fogs in blizzard conditions, not for nighttime driving. Even properly adjusted headlights can light up the falling snow and make it difficult to see
