I have a 2014 JK Rubicon, when the temperature out side is below freezing and I start the vehicle my rear defrost light flashes for about two to three minutes before the blower fan starts. Any ideas why this would be happening?

My understanding is that signals the blend door is being recalibrated. I've never seen this happen myself, and not sure why it would need to continue to recalibrate each time you're starting it up.

 

I have been having multiple issues with my heat and temperature control console including blinking lights and needing to wait before my air kicks on. Still no heat. Here is a video I've watched a few times that might help you:
