If you fix it now it wont be a problem later. If you wait for it to get bad, it will do so at the worst possible time/place. I would fix it, but thats just me.
I would say bring it to your dealerships attention. they may very well say just to leave it but at least it will give you denyability later on. They won't be able to say that you knew about it and that you were degligent.
That's just gasket sealant that oozed out when they assembled the axle. Your fine, I bet you'll find that on every JK. Mine has it on front and rear. I don't see any oily residue, ENJOY.
