Default Help

trying to install a new hardtop on my '07 jeep. It is an '11 hardtop. There are 2 pins in the back of the hard top which do not line up with the body of my jeep. On the hardtop instruction directions for '07-10 jeeps it says to remove the pins. Seems easy enough. I screwed off the black bottom part of the pins but the rest of it will not come out of the hard top. It seems like the rest of it should just pop out. But it will not budge. Have tried unscrewing it using vice grips. It will rotate in place but it does not screw out. I have tried hitting it with a hammer (not too hard) to try to drive it out. Didn't work.

How do you get those stupid pins out? Any help will be much appreciated.

That sucks. Can you just use a saw to cut them flush? Don't beat on it too hard bc it is fiberglass.good luck
