Help! Broke bolt on door hinge pin..
Well tried taking my doors off for the season today. One of those torx nuts must have been rusted on good..
Went to get it off and it sheared off the threaded part that is attached to the pin on the door hinge.
Im assuming I have to replace the entire hinge now? If, so does anyone have a part number and do they come painted?

The pin can be removed and replaced. The tops of them are splined and "pressed" into the hinge. Long story short, I have replaced all of mine. Rubber mallet and 3/8 drive extension and you can pop them out. Stealership sells the pin and nut as separate parts and the top is not painted

Next time don't bother with the torq nuts. After my first winter I had a B with an itch taking a few of the nuts off. Now, I run my doors all season without those nuts and don't have to worry about a nut seizing up as well it makes it easier to remove the doors when every you want too. Just make sure you lube up the hinges with white lithium grease every so often.
