Stock JK TechBulletin board forum regarding issues with OE (original equipment) components of the Jeep JK Wrangler (Rubicon, Sahara, Unlimited and X) such as factory suspension parts, engine, transmission, body parts, interior fixtures and the on-board computer.
Recently was working one my 13 jku rubicon and after putting all the screws and bolts back to where they go…… I was left with these two clips that have puzzled me where they go..,. Any help would be great. Thx a ton!
that style clip is often used on the evap lines. Not sure where you were working, but look around the evap lines by the battery in the engine bay, and/or at the front of the fuel tank under the jeep.
Also, with that sort of clip, you actually do NOT remove those to release them. It's not very intuitive, but if you just press in the middle of that clip, the little end legs will extend out and allow you to disconnect the two hose pieces that are being held together with the clip.
Quick example of what I'm talking about. you press in where those yellow arrows are and the little legs will flex out releasing the pieces.
