Default HELP! Dana 44 - 2012 Rubi

I took my diff covers off my dana 44's. I was going to put them back on and now I see they are different.1 cover has a higher drain hole that the other and also bulges out more. I dont remember which is for the front diff vs the rear.

can anyone help?

Thanks

The front one probably is the lower of the two. And they are fill holes not drain holes

The cover with the higher fill hole is for the front axle. The oil level must be high enough to lubricate the pinion bearings. The high pinion front axle requires more lube to get the level closer to the pinion bearings.
