hmm I dunno I havent heard of them changing, maybe someone with 09 can post up a pic....hmm makes me wonder if the 09's surrounds arent on back order then, try calling moparpartsamerica.com tomorrow, they dont have 09 parts listed on site and they usually are about 25-30% off list

hmm interesting, that really doesnt look like a latch to me that would hold or release the top but I dunno, where are the folks with 09s lol

I think I may have it figured out. The surrounds are different for 2 doors and 4 doors. The guy on the ebay auction has the fronts for a 4 door and I believe he is mistaken is saying these will work on a 2 door. I may be wrong, but this is what I have gathered from my research. I am still new to Mopar, so I am trying to learn.

 

you know what I just realized it too, except those are the rears for a 4dr he has on ebay, and they will not work on the 2dr

 

the bottom picture looks identical to the door surrounds I have with my 4 door.

 

So that's it! I knew something was fishy! Thanks a ton, You helped save me $235 on rear door parts for a 2 door jeep! That dude is wrong I asked him if he was sure that this was for a 2 door sunrider and his reply was, and I quote, "All factory 07+ Wranglers have the Sunrider option. So yes they will work."
Well at least I am not the sucker he will get. I will try to report him on ebay.
