Spray inside hinge with lube, get a buddy to help yank them off, and enjoy. Does help to wiggle back and forth. Also coat pins with vasoline before re-installing helps a lot

One down, three to go (jeez).

It took the door being jacked up while wiggling.

That is crazy....I took mine off for the very first time just last week and mine is a 2009 model. Anyhow they came right off....no struggle at all! I wasn't expecting how heavy they were! Maybe I was just holding my mouth right??

You're lucky. That may be demograph related since you have milder winters down south. Since mine haven't been off since 2008, they been on there through some long winters.

Yes, they were removed in the spring of 07 and discarded.

After that PITA, there was lots of sanding, and then, lot's of loctite anti-seize.

In the end, a floor jack stacked with 2x4's was the winning combination when coupled with lots of rocking back and forth. It just took some perseverance and lots of patience.

That might be part of the problem. Without the nuts you might have gotten some winter sallt or junk up in the hinge. Since you got one off you have proven that it is possible. Good luck with the other three!

Spray with PB Blaster to get them loose. Lay a moving blanket down to help in case you lose a little control when they finally come loose. Keep lifting while moving opened and closed. My doors don't come loose until they are mostly opened. Good luck.
