Help piece of plactis is stuck in the shifter shaft. How do you remove the metal shifter pole. I cannot remove my keys because the shifter is stuck in the down position because a little piece of plastic that broke off is holding it down.

 

how do you remove the plastic shifter piece that connects to your Shifter head?

Ok so i broke this thing about half way down the shifter. it is the plastic bar that is inside the shifter. How do i replace this piece. Does anyone have a online service manual so i can take it apart?
