Hi Everyone
I have a error code on my 2011 jk Sport. P1404 - Egr Position Sensor Rationality Closed. I recently installed K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit and a day later it throw the error code. Should I replace the egr sensor should I just take it off and clean it. Are there any writes for this EGR thing. I am worried about this stupid sensor. Are there any writes ups on this problem. And my gas mileage dropped from 13 to 12. I always have used regular gas.

Jeep is at 80,000 miles Please help I don’t want to take it to the stealership. I have never taken it to a mechanic because the minute they see that I am a women the price seem to go up. No offense to great mechanics I know are out there but I only seem to find the bad ones.


I change my oil at 3000 miles I got a little over what it should be but when I drained the oil, it only drained out 4 quarts. Am I burning up oil for some reason?

I am going to change my spark plugs and wire set are there any brands you can recommend? I appreciate any help thanks!

 

Have you tried disconnecting your battery to possibly reset the computer. It's possible the ecm may just need to re learn the difference. I'd think it shouldn't change to much IMO. Hope it helps. It couldn't hurt to try

 

My 11 just got the P0404 code. Pretty common issue.
