Help transferkng brakes to new axle

My rear axles were so tight we had to use a large ply at to apply outward pressure while using the slide hammer. In my case the slide hammer alone did nothing but tire me out. That rubber seal is very resilient.

I would put the rotor on backwards and hand tighten the lugs. Leave enough room on the studs so you can use the rotor as a slide hammer. Prob two good whacks and that axle will slide off.

Thanks to all your help next question, guys the rear axle is in and good. Can I know move the jeep even tho ratios are on the gears? As long as I don't use 4wd of course? Six speed jk. Want to move it to face toward my work space

Yes you can as long as you're in 2wd.

Anyone know the socket size I need for drop pitman arm to remove it from the jeep?

You'll need a 34mm socket.

Thanks man 1inch and 5/16 was the perfect fit for me I think that's 33.2mm lol got the swap done
