So I had been driving with the top down for some time and much to my dismay upon erecting the soft top on for a few rainy days I heard what amounted to a small whine, further investigation proved a pin prick sized hole near to the header, I was inquiring what the best avenue is for me to pursue with regards to the repair of the above mentioned top (as at this time a replacement is not financially feasible)

Did you get a few extra patches for the soft top when you purchased? I know I have 2 patches that came with my softop from factory. With a pin prick talk with a softop repair shop and see what they suggest?

Would your JK/softop be under warranty still? I would l think a pin prick in the top is a fault from factory...it was not worn out but a fault. Or use JLowy's technic of superglue.

 

The local soft top repair place put vinyl patches on mine and they have held up great for 2 years and counting.
