If you experience a hint of flutter....just get these and be done with it...

Pull the hood spring. And add zip ties To the latches (plenty of write-ups on the forum). And viola problem solved for $2.99.

$30 for Daystars are pretty cheap. I won't sweat $27 difference.

Daystars are the very first mod I did to both an 07 and an 08. I won't drive on a 2-lane highway at speed without them.

I pulled the hood spring and bracket out the first day I had it home. Than went and put the Daystar hood latches on. Those rubber latches that were on my 2010 are the same on my 2012.

I only have 600kms on my 2012 JKU but we met a semi the other day and for sure saw some flutter. The Daystar latches will be on order shortly.

So is my 10 Rubi. Although, I do have the Mopar front skid plate. But when I didn't it still never moved. There must be some tractor trailer freight trains in other areas of the country.

I had an office in West Deptford, NJ for the past couple of years. Hey, you can't go fast enough in New Jersey to have hood flutter! lol
