Hot oil ???

Default Hot oil ???

When I drive my jeep on the beach for more than 15,20 min. on board computer chimes HOT OIL... Am I just pushing it too much? is there another type of oil i can use?

it means the auto tranny is overheating.

JK freedom, mines a 2009 rubicon unlimited w/tow pkg. I think I may be pushing it too much in the deeper sand, thank's for the Ifo, you scared me with that recall, hopefully they fixed the prob.

yours is fixed.... its the older ones that dont have the hot oil indicator.. I think if you air down more you will be set. (12-15 PSI)

Yea I don't air down that alone could be the prop. need to get an air pump. Just chasing stripers up and down the LI cost, got a 37incher last week.. Thanks again

I never wheeled in the sand, but I know that this is a real problem. You should install a tranny cooler

No, the problem still exists....all they did was install a chime to let you know about the overheating. They did absolutely nothing to address the problem. NOTHING.
