Haven't really looked for an answer yet... Thought I'd just put it out there, was playing with the trip computer and the total Millage counter changed to an hr 287, would that be the total amount of hours the engine has run?

Yes, that's the total engine hours since it was last reset. If you hold it in it will reset just like the trip odometers.

Must be a diesel thing....my cummins has that feature on it.

Have it on my 2011 Rubi-gas. I believe it also counts when the key is on but the engine is not running as someone else said.

My 08 gas has it. Would it not come in to play on how long you run in
4-low . and when to change the lube.?
