Default How do you adjust the windshield ?

My passenger door is really tight and hard to close, we noticed the windshield is really close to the upper portion of the door and needs to go forward about 1/6th of an inch.

I know it adjust but I'm not sure how.

You might want to look and see if the door needs adjusting instead.

I did that before posting, the door is dead on the money but the windshield is back too far on that side, I can even see that the hard top is tighter on that side.
It just needs a pinch up top and its all good, I just don't know what to do to make it move.

I seriously thought about letting the dealership do it because its so new but I know how they are and I know some yahoo that's never done it before will do it and screw up something, I'd rather just fix it myself.

Something is outa-whack for sure. Possibly a bad roll bar interconnect tube? It's new right? Q.A does miss things LOL

It's about a month old, seems like it would be an easy fix if I could find some information on lowering the windshield even, I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later.

Well lowering the windshield is all about taking off your two front plates , wiper arms, remove rollbar padding and trim pieces up top , removing the bolts , then the connector tubes.

I had same problem after dealer installed the soft top. Took it in and they had to loosen the bolts on the windshield where it attaches to the rollbar (along with down by the hinges) and move things around a bit. It is still tighter than the driver's side but much better.

That's funny.. I just found that same video, thanks for posting it. It looks easy enough, I went out and loosened the right side and nothing would move, I think I'll wait until I have some daylight to play with and try it again.

Plus my dang shoulder is still killing me from my wreck a couple weeks ago, so I have limited strength right now, heck just using the ratchet was making me tear up.
