How do you guys clean your windows?
Most motorcycle shops carry it. It's the best thing for cleaning helmet visors and plastic windshields. Takes bugs and other crap right off with almost no effort. I've been using it for years for that.
And it does an awesome job on my Jeep too...

So I was stuck in the high country unexpectedly. Vail Pass closed from weather. Anyhow, was not prepared for cold weather and the next morning my windows were covered with ice. I was to inpatient to wait for them to defrost and grabbed my metal plates to scrape the windshield. It worked, but now I have fat scratches across my windsheild.
Do you think Plexus will buff them out? Theyw are not deep scratches. I am thinking the scratches are to the laminate only.
Thanks,
John

I wash just like I would any other car (the exterior) then use ClearVue (now marketed by Turtle Wax) for the insides.
ClearVue is a non-amonia glass cleaner, it dries quickly and streak free and won't cause fogging of automotive tint films or plastic windows. I love the stuff - and I use it on my prescription glasses/sunglasses as well.
Novus #1 and #2 when needed for light scratches. (Edit to add that you use #2 first to soften/remove light scratches, then #1 to clean and shine as a finish for the repair)

If you have comprehensive insurance, you may have glass coverage. Here in MA i'm allowed 3 replacement glass jobs (windows, windshield etc) in a calendar year...
Sooo... if a "rock" hits your windshield "on the highway" and leaves a good crack, you get a new one, completely free of cost.
Not sure if thats the same everywhere...
